EMBANKMENT SYSTEM OF DIFFERENT RIVER UNDER JURISDICTION
OF NALBARI W.R. DIVISION, NALBARI
Amongst the flood prone district, Nalbari is one of the highly flood prone District in the State of Assam. The jurisdiction under Nalbari Water Resources Division covers main Stream, Brahmaputra with tributaries like Pagladia, Mora-Pagladia, Baralia and Noona which are flashy in nature and cause large scale devastation in every year flood.
Embankments: There are 11 Nos of embankment in the district on both bank of river as given below
